AUGMENTED REALITY | It is AMAZING!!!

A few days earlier I had explained to you what is VIRTUAL REALITY. And in the same post, I had told you that I will explain what is AUGMENTED REALITY. So in this post, I will explain in detail what is AUGMENTED REALITY.

What is AUGMENTED REALITY?

AUGMENTED REALITY(AR) is the ability to insert an overlay of digital and virtual information into the real world. In simple words, it brings instructions out of the paper manual directly onto your smartphone screen or the lens in front of you.

How can we experience AUGMENTED REALITY?

One of the most simple ways of explaining Augmented reality is the Pokémon GO game which had become very popular. This is an Augmented reality game. So what happens is the application accesses the camera and it puts a little creature in your real world.

Google glasses is a great example of AR. It adds to feel your view, still letting you in the real world. There is a small display on the side of the normal glass. So when are working we get an overlay of information all the time. HoloLens is one more popular example of AR. HoloLens is going to transform the world. For example, if you want to play a game. So you need an opponent to play the game with. HoloLens will create a virtual opponent in the space of our room. SONY's Magic Lens is a high-end example of AR. 

AUGMENTED REALITY is the next step of VIRTUAL REALITY. It is advanced than VR, more interesting & also more costly.IKEA, one of the most popular furniture company had launched a smartphone app, this app contained the catalog of all IKEA furniture. So now if you want a dining table in your living room this app would create a virtual Dining table. So now you can see the dining table from all sides, how much space is left beside it, what's its height. It is used in the following:
