Google Allo

Google Allo is a Smart messaging mobile application developed by Google for the Android and iOS mobile. Allo is Fast, Smart & Secure and lets you express yourself in fun new ways. Google Allo was released on September 21, 2016.

• Expression

 Allo requires your phone number so you can easily get in touch with anyone within your phone book. You can also express yourself by shouting your message and also by telling it softly.It can also suggest you with a message, like if your friend asks you to join him for a dinner, Allo can suggest you with " I'm in/I'm Busy. ". The more you use Allo, better the suggestion become. Allo also contains stickers and emojis too. It offers smart replies when people send photos to you.

• The Google Assistant 

Also, Google has brought Google Assistant right into your conversation with friends.Like if your planning for a Dinner with your friend, Google Assistant can suggest you with restaurant nearby which everyone in the chat can see and also book a table for you.This means that Allo can help with all kinds of information in the real world. Using Allo you can also have a one-on-one chat with Google.

• Privacy and Security

Allo is built in the Incognito (having one's true identity concealed) Mode. Chats in the Incognito mode are End-to-End Encrypted. Incognito chats have discrete notifications hiding the sender and the message content from shoulder servers. Incognito mode has message expiring chats, so you are in control of how long your private messages stick around. And when you delete a chat from incognito mode its gone forever. Take a look at this.

Google Duo

Google Duo is a simple One-to-One video calling application. The Duo is a video companion to Allo. It is Fast and performs well on slow networks. It is End-to-End Encrypted and based on your phone number, allowing you to easily get in touch with the people you care about. It works on both Android and iOS. The Knock Knock feature shows you a live video stream of the caller before you have even picked up. Not only you can see who's calling but what they are up to and why they are calling.

The Duo works wherever you are. Whether you are in New York or New Delhi, Home or on the road. Duo practically monitors network quality multiple times per second, allowing to degrade gracefully and to simultaneously switch between Wi-Fi and cellular. What is Google Assistant?

Google Assistant is nothing but a Two-way Conversation and a natural dialogue between us and Google to get help and get things done in this real world. In simple words, it is a personal Google for each one of us.It is an independent chat bot app. Take a look at THIS.

Google Assistant was launched in May 2016. It is an extension of Google Now. Google Now just gives an answer to the question asked to it. We aren't able to interact much with Google Now. But Google assistant has wiped this off. Google Pixel, Google Home has access to Google Assistant.It is deployed on many other Android devices in February 2017.It can do many tasks, such as Google Assistant can find photos for you, can tell you how tall someone is, what two times two is, what is the weather, adjust hardware settings on the user's device, etc. 

When we search something on Google assistant we get the answer, after that we do not have to do a fresh search again for the same, if we ask some more question it will give the answers in the same context. Some more example of virtual assistants are Siri in Apple, Cortana in Windows. But Google assistant has many more features than Siri, Cortana. In short Google Assistant >> Siri, Cortana.

Language Support

At its launch on May 18, 2016, it was limited to the English language, it added support for Hindi in 2016. At its developer conference in 2017, Google announced the summer addition of French, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese along with support for Italian, Spanish and Korean by the end of 2017.

In April 2017, a software development kit(SDK) was released, allowing third-party developers to build their own hardware that can run the Google Assistant. It has been integrated into cars from Audi and Volvo and smart home appliances, including fridges, washers, and ovens from companies including iRobot, LG, D-Link and General Electric.
