Top 10 Smartphone Myths!!!

1. More the Megapixels, Better the Results.

This is not true. The space available for your smartphone camera is very small and the manufacturers have to bundle 16 million pixels on the sensor for a 16MP camera. Just having more megapixels won't enhance the quality of the picture, it should be supported with a good sensor, lens and an aperture. But the phones having a more megapixel camera will give you the advantage to zoom more clearly. So just don't compare the Megapixel.

2. Completely Drain the Battery before Charging your Phone.

Rather than enhancing your battery life, it will harm your battery. Just charge your phone when you feel doing so. Just don't let the battery of the phone go below 10%. Some people say that one should drain the battery completely when you buy a new phone/laptop. This is again not to be done.

3. Using Battery Savers.

Just don't install Battery Savers. Battery Savers keep killing the recent apps, switches of the Wi-Fi, Location, Bluetooth when not in use. These tasks can also be done manually. By closing the recent apps, the processor builds a lot of load on itself, which is bad for the smartphone.

4. Installing Apps from Unknown Sources.

Don't install apps from unknown sources. Download apps from Google Play Store, which has a collection of millions of apps, and all are trusted. Google does not have control over the apps downloaded from various websites. Such applications can leak your information, can harm your device.

5. Using Antivirus.

Antivirus in not needed for any Android/iOS device. If you download something from Play Store or from any reputed website then in such a case you do not need antivirus on your phone. Antivirus increases the load on the smartphone processor.

6. Will the Battery Degrade if Charged Overnight?

Modern smartphones do not allow overcharge. Once they are charged to 100% the adapter does not allow excessive current to flow to the phone by cutting the charge. So, it is safe to charge your phone overnight.

7. Phone gets Warm, using Fast Charger.

It is okay if your phone gets warm while using the fast charger. Because the manufacturers take special care about their phone's battery, as they have a giant capacity battery. Many of the budget smartphones and high-end smartphones use fast charging for eg. Qualcomm fast charge. So no need to worry.

8. Full Signal means Full Data.

It depends on how many number of users are there in that cell tower. If there are too many users on the cell tower you are connected to then the speed might reduce, although you have a full signal indication.

9. Killing Recent Apps

Many people frequently kill recent apps by thinking that the battery of their phone gets saved, phone becomes fast. But this is not the case. Do not swipe the recent apps frequently from the app drawer/tray. Because when we need the recently killed app again the processor has to load it again freshly which develops a load on the processor which in turn slows down the speed of your phone. So don't kill apps frequently.

10. Not Restarting Your phone.

Do restart your phone once a week as all the processes are started afresh once again. It hardly takes a minute to reboot your phone. So Restart your phone once a week.

That's it follow these simple tips and tricks and experience the change.
